Image processing data

The cleaner reads files only after you choose or paste them. It uses browser memory, local object URLs, a worker when supported, and canvas encoding. Image bytes, base64, blob URLs, thumbnails, filenames, metadata values, hashes, dimensions tied to a file, GPS, and camera models are not sent through fetch, XHR, forms, beacons, analytics, error reporting, or third-party SDKs.

• No user accounts or database for storing images, metadata, or visitor profiles.
• No image persistence in localStorage or IndexedDB.
• Object URLs are revoked when items are removed, results are cleared, or the page closes.
• No third-party error-reporting SDK.

Ordinary website requests

MetaRinse is hosted on Cloudflare. When your browser loads site files, Cloudflare may process ordinary request information such as IP address, request time, requested path, user agent, and security or network-error logs. Those requests do not include the images you select in the cleaner.

Aggregate, cookieless feature usage statistics

When a tool finishes successfully or a download starts, MetaRinse records the tool action, page language, and Cloudflare-derived two-letter country code through Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine. The event contains no analytics cookie or persistent visitor identifier.

Images, filenames, previews, metadata, GPS or camera details, dimensions, exact file sizes, and hashes are excluded. MetaRinse uses these events only for aggregate feature statistics, and Cloudflare retains them for up to three months.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics remains blocked until you select “Allow analytics.” Declining or making no choice does not affect the image tools.

After permission, Google may process page URLs and titles, referrers, broad tool actions, approximate region, browser and device information, and visitor or session identifiers. First-party “_ga” cookies may be set with a default expiry of up to two years, subject to browser limits and your settings.

Selected images and image-related information are never included. Google Analytics advertising features remain disabled. You can change your choice through “Analytics settings” in the footer; withdrawing permission stops new MetaRinse analytics events and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site.

Advertising

Pages across the site may display Google AdSense ads. Advertising choices and optional Google Analytics are managed separately. See the Google AdSense advertising section below for details.

Email inquiries

If you email metarinse@gmail.com, your sender address, display name, subject, message, and any attachment you choose to send are transmitted to and stored in Google Gmail and can be read by JS YOO to respond, protect the service, and keep necessary correspondence.

Once a day, an automated Codex task uses OpenAI services to summarize the sender, received time, subject, main request, and whether a reply appears necessary. It does not reply, change message status, open links, or read attachments.

OpenAI processes this content under the operator account settings and may process it in the United States or other service locations. Depending on those settings, content may be used to improve models.

Inquiry records and summaries are reviewed periodically and kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, protect the service, meet legal obligations, or exercise and defend rights. Do not send private photos, credentials, GPS coordinates, or other sensitive information.

Your choices and contact

Clearing the cleaner or closing the page removes the in-memory working session. For privacy questions or a reasonable request about inquiry records, email metarinse@gmail.com.

Google AdSense advertising

Pages across the site, including image tools, may display Google AdSense ads. Selected images, filenames, previews, metadata, and generated files are not sent to advertisers.

Google and its advertising partners may process IP addresses, page information, device information, cookies, and identifiers to deliver and measure ads and, where permitted, personalize them. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google’s consent message provides consent, refusal, and settings choices. Refusing personalization does not necessarily remove all ads.

Where the consent message applies, use “Advertising privacy settings” in the page footer to reopen it. Advertising choices are separate from optional Google Analytics; neither choice restricts access to the image tools.
